National Service Scheme, a unique endeavour launched on the birth centenary of the Father of The Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, aims at individual development of the student volunteer through community service. It acts as bridge for students to get involved with the harsh problems of the communities around them and lend whatever helping hands they can by means of educational, cultural, social interaction and involvement. The college, though started in 2013, was fortunate to get an NSS unit in 2014 and it is actively and constructively intervening as a powerful medium for uplifting the society around the college in many dimensions. Mrs.Sameera C P, Asst Prof of Arabic is the unit Program Officer who has proved herself very active by organizing a lot of innovative and socially relevant programs .
The anti-ragging cell in the college is constituted as per the government instruction to deal with cases of ragging on the campus and to take strict measures to prevent ragging. It also aims at creating strong awareness about the legal action against those who are involved in any kind of action deemed to be ragging.The committee consists of the Principal and HoDs of all the five major departments. Students who are subject to any treatment amounting into ragging can report the same to the principal in writing. The Women’s Cell in the college functions as a body intent on addressing issues specific to women and endeavours to empower women to tackle issues related to gender, sexual harassment, perceptional deformity and self realisation.The women’s cell in the college is chaired by Dr. Abida Farooqui, Asst Profesor of English.
The Career Guidance and Placement Cell and Placement Cell provide necessary directions for the students to help them keep tuned with the professional and skill requirements on the Career front. Skill empowerment training, awareness campaigns, soft skill training, Technology integration training are offered at regular intervals at the College. The Finishing Schools held at the end of semesters and in summer also provide the graduate and undergraduate job seekers excellent exposure.
Library, in any academic institution is expected to be a centre of serious scholastic engagement and a place to ignite critical thinking and thirst for relentless pursuit of Knowledge.

Walk With a Scholar (WWS) is a state Govt initiative to mentor the scholarly aptitude of students by providing them opportunities to interact with a number of high-profile academicians and industrial experts. The college level WWS coordinator is Mr. Habeeburehman, Asst Prof Physical Education.
